Rentometer: A Helpful Tool For Apartment Investors
Tools August 27th, 2007iiProperty, the web startup providing software for managing rental properties has a nifty little tool called Rentometer which helps apartment investors compare apartment rates to the rates they are currently charging or asking.
Simply provide the property address, the number of units in the building, the number of bedrooms, and the current monthly rent, and the Rentometer will provide you with a quick visual analysis of how your property stacks up to the competition.
While the tool is not completely accurate, similar to Zillow, it provides a quick and dirty estimate which investors can use as a basis for further investigation when considering purchasing a property or attempting to rent an existing property.
